Throughout her career, Janet has created and led innovative programs, expanded opportunities for students, and built partnerships that connected young people to experiences beyond the classroom. Led programs serving students with significant academic, behavioral, mental health, and life challenges, resulting in increased test scores and graduation rates.

Supported students in creating a grand prize-winning video about the impact of the Massachusetts Conference for Women, earning VIP access, $2,500 scholarships for each student, autographed books, a private meeting with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and the opportunity to introduce Lupita Nyong'o before an audience of 10,000 attendees.

Secured acclaimed actress Esther Rolle as a middle school graduation speaker, bringing students a powerful message of perseverance, achievement, and overcoming obstacles.
