Engaging Students in Hybrid/ Remote Learning Using Equity Lens
About Janet Ferone
"As in the concept of Universal Design, creating a climate for students with special needs to thrive often results in more positive outcomes and school culture for all students."
Many students are thriving in their schools, yet, for some students who face barriers to success, such as poverty, discrimination, and disabilities, school success is often out of reach. We work with schools to help them ensure that ALL students succeed.
While much emphasis is placed on test scores and data analysis, many students require a personalized environment to enable them to access academic supports. I work with schools to create the conditions where all students thrive, including students with behavioral/social emotional and learning issues, autism spectrum disorder, or those with depression/anxiety/suicidality.

After 25 plus years in various administrative positions in the Boston Public School
System, I created Ferone Educational Consulting to continue my work of assisting school systems to meet standards and provide equal access and opportunities.
